The Portland portfolio is the most diverse throughout the company, with office and industrial assets exceeding 4.6 million square feet, retail spaces approaching 1.2 million square feet, as well as hundreds of multi-family units. Portland

World-famous architect Timothy Pflueger designed and built this 26-story Mayan Deco masterpiece that today offers modern office suites ranging from 600 to 6,000 SF with state-of-the-art building systems. 450 Sutter is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a two-time winner of The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) award for Medical Office Building in the Pacific Southwest region, presented by BOMA International.

East Bay

Our portfolio in the region has grown to 3.5million square feet of multi-tenant industrial and office properties, including the award winning Riverside Commerce Center. Sacramento

All of the company’s properties are located in prime areas with easy access to freeways and main thoroughfares. Our properties feature park-like settings, serving a variety of corporate and smaller tenants beautifully. Two of these properties, Carroll Canyon Commerce Center and Trade Place Commerce Center, include biotech lab space, home to some of the latest space shuttle technology and clean room space in the United States.

Known as the “wireless capital of the world”, the San Diego region is one of the fastest growing in the United States. It also has the third largest concentration of biotech companies in the United States. Due to this diversity, Schnitzer Properties sees a tremendous long-term investment potential here. San Diego

Today, the portfolio includes 38 properties totaling over 10.7 million SF. As one of the largest owners of multi-tenant commercial properties in the Las Vegas metropolitan area, the company satisfies a spectrum of tenant needs, from 500 square feet for start-ups or incubator tenants to 300,000 SF for major distribution businesses. With projects in every part of the valley, location requirements are relatively easy to satisfy. 

The company’s development team completed its first local “ground up” project, Henderson Commerce Center Phase I, in 2002. At the intersection of I-515 and Warm Springs Road, this 240,000 SF project was the first phase of a master planned, multi-tenant industrial of over 1.5 million SF. Other local developments include constructing the 258,000 SF Sunset Airport Center II in the heart of Las Vegas, Tropical Speedway Distribution Center Building A in North Las Vegas, totaling over 375,000 SF. 

Redevelopment is part of a corporate strategy to enhance existing properties in excellent locations that require an investment to fully realize their potential. Examples include the $10 million transformation of the 375,000 SF former Spring Mountain Business Park into a uniquely themed Asian retail and business center just two blocks from the famed Las Vegas Strip. Recently the company opened the Phoenix regional office and now owns and operates over 1.5 million square feet of space in Phoenix, as well as 125 acres of development-ready land in the region.

Salt Lake contains numerous schools and museums, including: the University of Utah, Westminster College, Salt Lake Community College, Eagle Gate College, the Art Institute of Salt Lake City, LDS Business College, the Church History Museum, the Utah Museum of Fine Arts, and the Utah Museum of Natural History.

Salt Lake City

The company has two landmark community shopping center properties in the Coachella Valley of California, located in fast-growing Palm Desert and La Quinta. 111 Town Center, a 159,025 SF neighborhood shopping center, has a spectacular tenant lineup and complements the tone of Palm Desert’s justly famous retail hub. It is conveniently located near the El Paseo shopping district, Westfield Mall, and the Desert Crossing Shopping Center. 111 Town Center includes such essential brands as Whole Foods Market, HomeGoods, and Nordstrom Rack. The 127,562 SF retail shopping center Plaza La Quinta is located at La Quinta’s “gateway,” at Highway 111 and Washington Street and is well-known to the local community and seasonal visitors thanks to a mix of favorites including Vons Grocery, Rubio’s, La Quinta Baking, Five Guys, and many more. This 241,575 SF shopping center serves the desirable cities of Irvine, Santa Ana, and Newport Beach, with key access to three major freeways.

Schnitzer Properties’ 373,076 SF Nevada retail property, Stephanie Street Power Center, serves the thriving communities of Henderson and Southeast Las Vegas.
